About
KeyKeeper is a clipboard-to-keystroke typing tool that lives in the macOS menu bar and as a Windows tray app. When paste (Cmd+V on macOS, Ctrl+V on Windows) is blocked or unreliable — vCenter and VMware Remote Console, RDP, Citrix, jump hosts, hardened web forms — KeyKeeper types the clipboard character by character as if you had typed it on the physical keyboard.
The clipboard history is encrypted on disk with AES-256-GCM. The master key is a random 32-byte seed kept in the macOS Keychain (this-device-only, only-when-unlocked) on Mac, and sealed with Windows DPAPI under your user account on Windows: nobody else on the same machine, and no copy of the file taken elsewhere, can decrypt it. Content copied from compatible password managers (1Password, Bitwarden, KeePassXC, Dashlane, Strongbox, Enpass) is automatically detected via the standard ConcealedType / "Clipboard Viewer Ignore" flag and excluded from the history.
Typing speed is adjustable from 5 to 200 characters per second. The global shortcut is rebindable (default Cmd+Shift+V on macOS, Ctrl+Shift+V on Windows). Three start modes: double-click on the target field, focus-change detection, or immediate typing via global shortcut. Escape cancels at any time. Bilingual interface (English / Italian).
All data stays on your device. Zero analytics, zero telemetry, zero update server pings. The app is signed with the Developer ID Application certificate and notarized by Apple on macOS; the Windows binary runs at standard user integrity with no admin elevation.

- Automatic password-manager exclusion (ConcealedType)
- Adjustable speed 5–200 chars/second
- 3 start modes: double-click, focus change, immediate shortcut
- Rebindable global hotkey (Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+V default)

- macOS signed Developer ID + notarized; Windows asInvoker (no UAC)
- 100% offline: zero telemetry, zero analytics, zero trackers
